Summer Tutorials: Krabi

Krabi, located in Thailand, has some of the most beautiful beaches and islands -- that's what I hear. I'll need to get my butt there the next chance I get! The last time I wanted to book my flight ticket, Air Asia bluffed me.

This look is inspired by a sunset in Krabi.

lyn said...

That's absolutely lovely! The combination looks great!

Connie De Alwis said...

Jessying: Thank you! :)

Lyn: Thanks! :D Probably one of the few ways that I'd wear purple

love this a lot!

totally love your creativy, this is such an original combi. GORGEOUS! hm it's dramatic yet subtle? as in it's not in-your-face stunning but if i see you in real life, i'll think "you have nice eye makeup" and then in the next moment silently go "wow" in the split second you blink.

you make a weird orange shade looks gorgeous on eyes :D

neither dramatic nor natural. it's FUN FUN FUN hehehe

DANA said...

That's gorgeous!!! It really does remind me of gorgeous sunset at the beach... aahhh so nice. It's such a fun look.
Oh, btw, I notice you use Graftobian HD Corrector there... do you have a review on it?? How do you like it?? I'm beginning to get interested in Graftobian!

Connie De Alwis said...

Sue: Glad you do! :)

Mandy: And your way of describing the look is absolutely creative!

Nikki: You made me smile, Nikki. Thanks :) It's not that weird of a color! I actually really love that color for both eyeshadow and blush. It has golden shimmers

Connie De Alwis said...

Ee Von: I probably wouldn't wear this look to school but I don't mind wearing it out for shopping. Thanks, babe :)

Dana: Thanks! :D nope, I haven't reviewed it. It's still in its trial stage. My review for the SkinFood Salmon Concealer will be up soon though. It's also and orangey corrector

Great tutorial!! I love how you blend the eyeshadow. I'm sucks in blending..

Connie De Alwis said...

Gio: Thank you! :)

Mint: Thanks and you're welcome!

Slowbrogal: Thank you. Practice and you'll get the hang of it!

Connie, you always look so put-together and flawless!

The outer corner of your eyes look so contoured and creaseless ... I always admire people with eyes like that -- mine are so creased.

i noticed you change clothes after your did your makeup. i am the other way round. :p

i love this interesting combination. orange blush as an eye shadow and purple makes it so mysterious! i will have to try it soon.

thanks for a great idea!

Hsu Jen said...

Oooo.. A review of the Ben Nye Banana Visage Luxury Powder coming up I hope? :P

it's so gorgeous i did a quadruple take when i saw the first picture, how your eyelids matched the picture exactly!

however i dont even know how to apply a single color properly, i'll never be able to do that you did...=(

sigh, looks beautiful.

Connie De Alwis said...

theotherworldly: LOL! I'm usually a mess on regular days :p Thank you

Jojoba: The video was a remake! My angle was totally out in the original video so I just filmed the tutorial again but used the pictures from the first attempt
Thanks and you're welcome! I hope to see your version soon :)

Connie De Alwis said...

Hsu Jen: Ahhh.... not so soon! I have quite a lot of products to review before it's even Ben Nye's turn! But I'll keep your request in mind!

Sugar: Aw, you're too sweet. Trust me, I had a lot of trouble applying eyeshadow when I was just starting out with makeup. it took a lot of trial and error to get a look right. I'm sure you can do it too with practice and perseverance!

heyyy. love the graftobian foundation you wear.

Do you happen to know which shade would be best if I'm an NW30 in MAC?
