Update: I've Got A Planet On My Thigh

Has anyone not watched Alice in Wonderland?
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, insomniac-looking characters aside, though it was rather morbid for a Disney production. Not complaining, just pointing out. It is, after all, a Tim Burton movie.
Mid Valley Megamall recreated the scene above at the Centre Court and I was completely in awe by the details and accuracy. Just unfortunate that I didn't have my camera with me at that time. Not sure when it's gonna be up until but I'd suggest checking it out soon.

Read on for more blabber...

Latest Purchase: La Senza's having a sale and because I've had friends gushing over their bras, I caved and got three pieces for RM135. I spotted a lot more designs that I really liked so I can foresee myself getting more next time

Current Sport: This would be the planet mentioned in the title. I have about six others on other parts of my body but the one on my thigh is Jupiter. Please don't report domestic violence, these bruises were acquired from paintballing on Saturday. The only exercise I've been getting...

Currently Reading: I'm halfway through Audrey Niffenegger's "The Time Traveler's Wife". Such a compelling book and very well-written too. I highly recommend it if you're thinking of picking something up to read.

Good News: My exam results are out and I'm pleased with them. Strangely, I got an A for a subject that I was totally not confident in and Bs for those that I was hoping to get As for *shrugs* Now to tackle the Fs!

I stumbled (literally) on the Alice in Wonderland garden in MV - felt a bit overwhelmed by it and felt there's too much hype over the movie >.< Just me I'm guessing :P As for the bruise, rub it, and rub it HARD to get the blood flowing. Thou are no longer immune!

Dani: Awh, I hope you'll find someone to watch it with you. I watched the movie first and it was pretty good too. Of course, the book explains everything a lot more.

Stephanie: thanks for the info!

Paris B: Hehehe. I get what you mean. Every company wants a piece of Alice. Fortunately, my excitement has died down. But rub painful :(

alice was ok, not as i expected it to be since there has been so much of hype about it. i was hoping it'll blow me away but naah. i think avatar blew me away more haha. the i like the caterpillar and the cat!! and the "off with the head!" LOL.

the book is amazing!!! it's one of my favourites! the movie was a little disappointing but not too bad, prolly cos i finished reading before watching so kinda had lots of expectation.

wow the bruises look really bad! hope they'll heal soon! i really wanna try paintball-ing, sounds like fun!

I love Tim Burton films, and really liked Alice in wonderland. Though you have a good point about the insomniac looking characters. My husband says I remind him of the Mad Hatter. He meant personality-wise but I still can't imagine it to be a compliment!

I haven't watch Alice In Wonderland too. =((( I've waited close to a year for this, the moment I heard wind of it. I've been busy with my final year project. SIGH.

Big congratulations on your exam results!! It's so nice to get A.

And yes, I've only watched the Time Traveller's Wife, have not read it. It's nice! Such a sweet story.

I haven't seen Alice yet, but I have the UD palette ;-)

Great Bra--those bruises look like they need a bit of concealer!

Ee Von: Avatar was amazing! Best movie of 2009! I've learnt to lower down my expectations when it comes to book-based movies. that way I won't feel too disappointed. Ah, the bruises look a lot worse than they actually feel ;) Paintball is quite an experience! You should try it sometime

Penelope: My fave Tim Burton movie is Edward Scissorhands. Watched it recently and still love it. You should ask him which part of the Mad Hatter's personality that is like you. I'd like to know!

Jyoan: I'm sure you'll be able to watch it soon enough. And thanks!

Jamilla: Lucky you! I was very close to getting it but finally decided that I don't need it. In the end I spent the money on Chippendales, which was a lot better! :p I've ever had to conceal any bruises before but I was just considering 'cause I may have a dinner to attend on Thursday

I read "The Time Traveler's Wife" when it first came out 3 or so years back, and I thought it was awesome, altho my Literature Prof would probably ask me to write a paper on subliminal pedophile messages LMAO

The movie nice, but nope. It didn't do the books justice - movies rarely do.

Gotta catch Alice, if anything, for Johnny Depp ~_^

Can't understand the Twilight hype tho - never and would never read the books, and I almost nodded off during both movies. Booo...

I haven't watched Alice yet, but I can't wait to see it! Congrats on your exams results! I hope your bruises heal soon.

Sue Lynn: I've always wanted to read the book way before the movie but somehow some other title would attract me more. I get what you mean on the whole pedophile thing! Ah... I bought into the Twilight craze. I admit the writing was rather ghastly and I'd probably never read those books again. Interesting concept though. just not well-executed. Still made into movie wert, which is good cuz I get to oggle at Robert Pattinson :p though I'm more on Team Jacob now

Gio: I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Thanks :)
