I'll also be posting up basic methods on applying eyeshadow on different eye shapes in my upcoming post. So, do look out for that.
Eyeshadow: Qianyu 5-Color Silver Smokey Palette
Eyeliner: Elianto Liquid Liner in Black, Bloop Eyeliner Pencil in Black
Mascara: Maybelline Volum' Express
Brushes: Small eyeshadow brush, highlight brush
With the small eyeshadow brush, apply (a) into the inner corner of the eyes. Then, apply (b) onto the middle of the lid
Apply (c) onto the outer lid and bring the color up to the crease. Extend the color to the outer lower lash line as well. With the same brush, blend the edges of the eyeshadow to smoothen the harsh separation line.
Starting from the outer corner of the lid, apply (d) into the crease and blend out to the outer part of the lid to create a more smokey effect. Fill up the rest of the lower lash line with (b). Lightly sweep on (e) under the brow with the highlight brush. Further blend with the highlight.
Tightline the upper lash rim with black eyeliner pencil. Line the bottom rim as well. Apply a thin line of liquid liner. Finish off with mascara.

Stephanie: Thanks for the tip. I'd like to try their BB cream. quite cheap.
Digie: I dunno whose heavy lids to use la. need to hunt for models. lol. But I am working on a comprehensive guide on eyeshadow application which includes how to apply on different eye shapes/types
Connie, nice tut again!!
anyway i did try the previous golden plum eyes, well though not as good as u did, but i guess mine was ok too ;))
thx for the tips!
Thanks, Hayley. I honestly did not quite like how the pictures came out for this look though. It looks much better in real life. The flash washed out the look a lot. Anyways, I'm so happy to hear that you've recreated the golden plum eyes. Next time do share with us your recreations ;)
i believe i ll need more practices though. and oo by the way, what if i use grey eyeshadow, but team with brown pencil eye liner. does this match? i m afraid it will look weird.
learning makeup does take a lot of practice. Um... if the brown is very brown, it should be alright but I would prefer grey with something purplish or reddish like a dark mahogany color or a deep purple. I think that would look more complementary.
Love the look! :)
Thanks, Chian Li :)
